To start off
Please make sure you look through the gallery before making your decision to commission me. I will try my best to give you whatever sort of faceup you ask for but please be aware that I am limited to my style. Also be aware that because each face is hand painted it is impossible for me to exactly duplicate a previous faceup or copy another artist’s work.
Each faceup is a custom hand painted artwork and should be treated with care to prevent chipping or damage. I take great care to make sure the face is properly sealed but these faceups are not as durable as factory products.
How does it work?
Slots are available to purchase in my etsy shop. You can purchase one slot for one head. If you have more than one head you must purchase a slot for each head. Prices are $35 for all sizes.
You can visit my shop {HERE}
Once you buy a slot you will get a message from me asking you to contact me to confirm your commission so I can give you the shipping information. Once I am ready to work on your doll I will contact you for more information on what you would like your doll to look like
Along with your doll’s head(s) you should include a note listing the contents of the package. Your note should include the following:
When do I tell you what I want my doll to look like?
I’ll message you when I’m about to start work on your doll’s head(s). I like to focus on one face at a time so I will work on my commissions in the order I physically receive them.
How long will it take?
I’m usually done within a couple weeks but it can take up to a month or two depending on when I receive it, the weather, and what I have going on at the time. Please keep in mind that I do have a separate full time job and I live in Colorado where the weather can sometimes impact my ability to paint. I want to make sure I take my time on your commission so that it’s done right so please be patient. That being said you are totally welcome to contact me to inquire about progress.
What if I don’t like it?
Once I’m done we can make basic changes, like darkening the blushing, adding thicker liner, more freckles, making the brows darker, I can always add to a faceup, but I can’t take the paint away. If you really don’t like the faceup we can start again but you’ll have to pay me a second full price faceup fee unless there was an error on my behalf. Even if you don’t like the faceup my time and materials still go into producing it. This is why I would highly recommend choosing your faceup artist carefully. Be really be sure you like my work.
