When I first saw Kinoko Juice’s Kiki I immediately fell in love with her chunky little legs and her cutesy anime face. I really wanted one but I was never able to attend the events she was sold at and I definitely couldn’t afford one on the second hand market. So when Azone began selling the ABS/PVC version of Kiki I was so excited that I could finally afford to have a Kiki of my own!
I ordered Kikipop Romantic Frill Sugar from HLJ about 2 weeks ago and she arrived today!

The BOX! I had to stand in line at the post office for an hour to get this! Worth it!

Ah! Her hair is in her face!

I seriously had no idea she came with all this stuff! I was happy enough to get one outfit let alone TWO!

I learned that the word kinoko means mushroom. Makes sense why there is cute mushrooms on all her stuff!

Finally! Out of the box! Her hair was crazy staticky when I took her out. It took some time to wrangle it all!

Aww she’s so cute!

I seriously love the lighting at my desk at work! Here’s her with the bow, necklace and the extra pair of hands.
I was able to safely get her wig off after I got home from work and get her in a pretty Leeke wig I had unused in a box but it was too dark for good pictures at that point. …I really need to invest in some studio lighting.
She fits a size 7/8 wig and smaller YoSD clothing. She also fits some of the Barbie stuff I have. I’ll have to play around with things to see which clothing sizes work best for her. I know there are several sellers on Etsy who make clothes for Kikipop and I’ve already got quite a few in my wishlist!
I plan on seeing if I can get her headback off and trying some Volks Animetic eyes in her. I’ll definitely have another update for you when I can do that. There is so little information out there on her that I have no idea what size eyes she wears and I’m sure you guys could benefit from the information.
Her name is just Kiki so far but because the plastic squeaks when you pose her I’ve started to nickname her Squeakers.
P.S.
For those of you who are wondering where the heck I’ve been the last several months, my new job has been crazy hectic. I’ve been working on several projects that have forced me to work a lot more hours than usual and I haven’t had time for dolls outside of working on commissions. I’m hoping things will slow down a little bit and I can get back do doing more in this hobby that I love!
Thank you guys for all your love and support!
Happy dollying!
